Scooters must be THE BEST way to navigate the Philippines. At least for 2 people at a time. Or three…or four people at a time if two of them are small (Not an uncommon sight)! Now I understand why we see scooters everywhere. Unobstructed views, warm wind (or cool rain) on your face, delicious smells, and great fuel economy make for a very pleasant experience. It’s hard to describe the feeling of having your wife on the back of the scooter with her arms around you, but it’s a good one. I guess it’s similar to the feeling of having your preteen daughter back there telling you the bumps in the road are part of the magic!
